1. Cheerleading tryouts for the 2011-12 basketball season will be held today from 3:30-4:15 in the Commons.

2. Attention Key Club Members: volunteers are needed to serve as ushers for the Fall Play this weekend. Sign up on the Key Club Bulletin Board.

3. Will your first bell class be the one to win a free Breakfast? Once again Key Club is sponsoring their annual Canned Food Drive. Starting today, the first bell class to bring in the most canned goods per student during the week will win a Free Breakfast. Please help those in need during this time of Thanksgiving and bring in canned goods.

4. A representative from Hanover College will be visiting today at 8:30. At 10:30 a representative from the Marine Corps will be available to speak with interested students. Wednesday at 10:30, a representative from the Army will be here to speak about the active duty army and the army reserve and how the army reserve can help with your college expenses.

5. Leadership Coouncil will be having a meeting today after school in C-20.

6. There will be a Holiday Fair meeting this Wednesday in C-20 right after school.

7. The Department of Engineering at the University of Cincinnati will be here Thursday at 1:00 to do a presentation on their new undergrad major, Environmental Engineering. Check out what this new major could do for you. Also Thursday, at 2:00, a representative from the University of Kentucky will be visiting. Interested students should report to C-20 for these opportunities.

8. Driver’s Ed classes will begin on November 30th and run December 1, 5, 6,7, & 8 from 3:00 to 7:00. Cost is $350. Information and registration forms are available in the Guidance Office.

9. Mrs. Bell’s first bell class is throwing down the glove, and issuing a challenge to Mr. Ferry’s first bell class in a side contest to see which class can bring in the most canned goods per student. Rumor has it that Math rules and Latin drools.

10. The Mariemont Arts Association would like to congratulate B. B. Meyers, the winner of 4 free tickets to MHS’s upcoming production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. She should contact Josh at 348-8675 to arrange for her tickets.

11. Art Club will meet on Wednesday after school. There are only 8 more days to finish Holiday Fair projects.

12. A pair of brown “UGGS” were found in the commons this am and they are in the front office.
