1. Beginning next Monday, students and parents will be able to receive daily announcements through their electronic devices. Announcements may be accessed by way of blog, RSS Feed, email or twitter. Please check your student email for more details. Since we will be phasing out 2nd period announcements over the PA, students will be permitted to access their devices during lunch in the commons. Phones may only be checked in the commons during lunch – not in the classrooms, hallways, etc. For a video tutorial about receiving announcements online, see this video.

2. Be sure to get in the game Friday night as the boys basketball team travels to Madeira and get your presale tickets in the office. Adults $6 Students $4. 

3. DECA students competing Tuesday at UC should check their email for a permission slip. Be sure to submit the form to Mrs. Baas by Friday.

4. Mrs. Wagner’s class should report to Study Hall today.

5. Mrs. Richardson’s classes should report to Study Hall today.

6. Students who are good speakers and are interested in the United States Constitution may be interested in The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program. This speaking contest is for students in grades 9-12. Please check in the counseling office for more details.

7. Any students in grades 9-12 who are interested in a career in media may want to attend a workshop hosted by local channel WCPO on March 10th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. More details can be found in the counseling office.

8. Elizabeth McCracken led the Lady Warriors with 11 points as the team shot 85% from the charity stripe to secure an 11 point victory over Deer Park last night in CHL action. The JV Lady Warrios, anchored by Ally Croll, Hali Taylor, Meagan Turner, Leach Grant Emille Beaver and Julia Ayerbe tallied an impressive 30-18 win over Deer Park. Both teams are back in action Saturday here vs CHL leader Indian Hill. JV tipoff at noon followed by varsity at 1:30.

9. Attention Teachers - Larry Kitchen with Conseco/Washington National health will be available throughout the day in the teacher’s lounge to explain the Cancer, Heart and New Accident coverage available thru payroll deduction. Everyone who stops by to hear about the benefits will receive a free gift.
