3. MHS has a unique opportunity to host high school girls from Hapur, India for three weeks this April 2012. With our friends from Madeira High School, we are currently looking for Sophomore, Junior and Senior girls who would be willing to host these girls from India in their homes during their stay in Mariemont. Our world is growing more and more connected and hosting a student is a great way to meet people from around the world and learn first-hand our commonalities while also respecting our diversity. If you would like to learn more about this opportunity or are interested in hosting a student, please let Mr. Renner know by January 30th.

4. Beginning next Monday, students and parents will be able to receive daily announcements through their electronic devices. Announcements may be accessed by way of blog, RSS Feed, email or twitter. Please check your student email for more details. Since we will be phasing out 2nd period announcements over the PA, students will be permitted to access their devices during lunch in the commons. Phones may only be checked in the commons during lunch – not in the classrooms, hallways, etc.
