1. ATTENTION ALL AP STUDENTS – remember to bring in a check payable to Mariemont High School for your AP tests.  Each test is $87.  This is due by April 20th.  Please bring your check to Mrs. Dunlap in the counseling office. ALL BOYS planning to play soccer next  year need to attend a brief meeting after school on Friday , April 20th in room C-20.  If you have any questions please see Coach Vanags. ATTENTION JUNIORS – Camp Kern applications for next school year are on the front counter. They must be returned to the front office by April 20th. 2. BICK’S DRIVING SCHOOL will be teaching a Driver’s Education class starting on May 7th immediately after school.  Classes will be held from 3-7 on May 7, 8, 9, 10, 14 and 15.  Cost is $350.00.  See Mrs. Dunlap in the Counseling Office for information and registration. 3. ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  Prom tickets will be on sale THIS WEEK ONLY in the MHS cafeteria during both lunch bells.  The cost is $75 per ticket or $150 for 2 tickets.  No tickets will be sold if the student does not have his or her Prom Permission form.  Blank forms will be available at the ticket table in the lunchroom or from Mrs. Toepfer in room 7.  Students from the Oaks may purchase tickets from 3:00 until 4:00 in the main office from Mrs. Meyer.  They also must present Prom permission forms at time of purchase.  Prom guests who do not attend MHS/OAKS do NOT need permission forms.  Buy your tickets early and avoid the Friday “rush.”  Prom permission forms are available online on the MHS homepage also. 4. ATTENTION ALL MARIEMONT PHOTOGRAPHERS:  Mariemont High School is hosting its’ Annual Photography Contest.  Any Mariemont student can enter.  The top 8 winners will receive cash awards.  In addition, the top 2 winning photos will be framed and permanently hung on the wall near the auditorium. Your photos must be matted and may be any size to enter, however the top two winning photos will be printed framed as 8 x 10s.  Photos in a series must be entered individually.  Please submit your photos to Mrs. Richardson along with a completed entry form for each entry.  Entry forms can be found in the school office or with Mrs. Richardson. For those whose photos are still in the photography room, please see or e-mail Mrs. Richardson regarding which photos you want to enter. Photos entered will be judged by two area professional photographers on creativity and technique. All entry forms and photos are due to Mrs. Richardson no later than Wednesday, April 25th.  Deliver them personally to Mrs. Richardson or put in her teacher mailbox in the office. 5. ALL CAST MEMBERS of Annie and Rosencrantz and Guilderstern should please check your school email for this year’s awards ballot.  Please fill it out and return it to Mrs. Lowery via reply email by no later than Tuesday, April 24th. THIS IS the last week to bring in books!  Bring in gently used books for underprivileged elementary students in grades K-8 by next Monday, April 23rd and win cookies and milk in your English class. Mrs. Lowery’s classes Bells 4 thru 7 should report to study hall today. 6. IF YOU didn’t order your yearbook, this is your last chance!  Online orders are closed, but you can bring a check for $64 to Mr. Becksfort until April 27th.  Make checks payable to Mariemont High School.  There will not be extra books available for sale next fall when they arrive. 7. BOOK CLUB AND FILM CLUB MEMBERS: please check your Mariemont email today for an important announcement from Mrs. Colpi. 9. THE FAST-pitch softball team had a solid performance in their contest against Indian Hill yesterday.  The defensive highlight of the game was the triple play the team recorded in the 3rd inning.  The girls play next at Indian Hill on Friday. 10. Detention is in Mrs. Sayre’s room today.
